I've just purchased a B6D and looking at what I need to make it the carpet version to run indoors. AE now sells a conversion kit to make the transmission laydow, so that saves a couple of bucks. The best I can tell, you need the gear diff, new front tower and the front arms to make a B6D a B6

91705 Laydown Transmission conversion ($27)
91703 Gear Diff ($38)
91673 Gullwing Front Arms ($8)
91663 Wide Front Tower ($17)

BTW... for people running the Exotek Battery strap. You guys know where to get a longer turnbuckle to replace the one that came with the kit?

Hello Phillip F,

It looks like you have to twist the battery hold down plate by 180* to get the tunnbuckle mounted on the propper place!?

Yes. But the brace wont be resting on the center top surface of the battery.

There's not too much they could add to the kit really. It's pretty well appointed in 'team kit' form. So don't hold your breath.

Looking at there web page & the pics it appears they have the battery sides slid back closer to the motor as well & the brace the opposite direction, it doenst look like it made to have the battery that far forward

It actually tells you in their manual that you can get a longer turnbuckle if you need it ...BUT, when you go to the website, a longer turnbuckle does not exist. was just wondering how do I determine the size of this turnbuckle and plastic end so I can just buy it from another company.
