5) Thicker oils

So if I own an ET48 already, I just need to get the mt towers and body posts (given that I dont want a shorter chassis) and im good to go?

FYI: FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT THE SHORTER CHASSIS***
Front and rear SC bumpers if you wanted those.

Just finished building mine and of course its raining. I have a few tekno eb48.2 buggies I bought used, so this was my first kit to build it took a while with just hand tools. I will be investing in some sort of power tool for my next build my hands hurt haha. I did a quick test run and its a wheelie machine for sure can't wait for it to dry up. I mostly drive on my backyard track I think this truck will be perfect for it, its very rough with big jumps and the grass around it is thick if you go off track. Plus sometimes I get bored and just try to jump whatever looks possible haha
Setup:

Castle mamba monster 2200kv with a HW SCT Pro ESC

SMC 4s 6700mah battery

18t pinion

80k80k50k in the diffs

Proline 3.8 badland tires

Proline Ram 1500 body

Hitec 7955 servo

Same thing i said on my first build.."boy do my hands hurt." I now use a low power drill, so i don't strip any hexes.

Got mine done and put a pack thru it today. Pretty much exactly what Iwas expecting on this build. Trying to get a feel for the truck in this one so nothing too crazy yet

I just realized that the folks here are quite a bit different from those on the race Tekno threads, so this may not have been seen yet by many of you. I did a series of build tips/tricks when I built my ET48.3 last year, but pretty much everything here applies to every Tekno 8th scale on the market. Hope these help somebody in the build process!

WTPauly was trying to get me into a ET48.3 and i found your vids from posts in the other threads. While i am not a new builder i always try to learn something. Your vids are very precise, good angles, lighting and great explanation on what you are trying to teach or show. I took a few key points on link building for instance and applied it to my MT410 build. Someone that says they already know and can't learn something new even if minor is kidding themselves. I, for one thank you for your instructional vids.
