Tamiya mini cooper
It's a real word. Means "able to be regulated". Not sure if that's what he was aiming for.
Edit: Took me a while to spot what you were pointing out in that pic. I thought you were suggesting that Tamiya has their own version of the part. Now I've noticed the involuntary defecating.

LoL
They are VERY Regulable.
Yes, my smart phone thought I didn't mean to say rebuildable, which is actually not a word....stupid hyphens....
I like these ones, as they are $10 USD cheaper, which is like....$900 Canadian right now.

There was one weird handling characteristic I noticed with my M03 over the weekend. When using throttle or brakes, the car tracked nice and straight. The steering always returned back to dead straight after making a turn. But off power, while coasting, it always veered left a bit. It didn't seem to impact the race since I never coasted while trying to go straight. I've checked for binding in bearings etc and didn't find any.

This can only mean that in 2017, we will see them re-introduced under new numbers.. or senility has finally set in at Tamiya
That's if they ever manage to negotiate a new license with BMW.
Build weekends just about hear. While there is a big race series leg in town for the weekend think ill build up the new kit M05v2. Going SWB for now and set it up. Also found a old cooper body kicking around im excited to build. And found like 3 tonyscews kits for minis so im even happier 😁
And yeah it's weird that I can buy a toy RC McLaren P1, but not a hobby grade body. That said I could get a 918 or a Ferrari, The Ferrari.
Furthermore it's even weirder that sponsorship decals lose out on licensing... it's free advertising. (See Tamiya Taisan Porsche re-release as "road car").
a limited run?
dang...
...well hopefully more come in stock... (Towers says end of December). W/ coupons I can get it for about $170. Whereas an M05pro would cost more than that to get the nicer shocks, aluminum and cardon joints. ...will wait and see.
