planning on buying esc combo which one will give me a better run, without looking at the price. hw xerun v3.1 v10 g2 or rf160 totemic motor? please need advise

So how these Totemic motors compare to the other top motors in the market place?


Any team drivers test out the Stock 17.5, 13.5, 21.5 and can shed some light in its capabilities compared to a $125 to 150 range built motors a few of the others have?

does any one know if the 160 program box works with the 120 don't want to buy another one if I don't need it

No you need the program box for the 120 that they have on the website. They each have their own.

Does anyone havsome good settings for the smc 1s for 17. 5 blinky. For 12th scale? On the program box?

Has any run the totemic mod motors? I'm running 7.5's in both 2wd buggy and 2wd short course. They're extremely smooth but lack bottom end. I have my SMC esc's punch setting maxed out and still not as much bottom end as other popular 7.5's. Any suggestions?

Try reducing timing to 10. Run 30 boost, 12000-27000rpm, and gear down a hair.

My 6.5 boosted is a monster everywhere. It's undergeared about 2 teeth on the pinion and has 30 degrees of boost with 5 turbo.

Just found this post. Just wanted to throw out there that I run the 4500kv 4 pole in my SCT, the 2100kv in my ebuggy, and the 1900kv buggy motor in my truggy. No lack of power with any of them. At this time I have no complaints about any of them at all after a full season with them.

I'll probably pick up another 4500kv and 2100kv as backups. I'm a spare junkie.

And when the eb410 comes out, I'll grab one of the smaller setups for that.

How does this motor perform in Analyzer and on track comparing to popular 17.5 motors like Trinity Monster, 24k, Team Scream, etc? I'm new to offroad 2wd buggy stock class. Track is small technical mostly high bite.

I have a 17.5 coming from SMC so I plan to run on Wednesday for some testing.

any findings you can share then is much appreciated.

Any word on the new 17.5 motors ? Do they stack up to the new crop thats out now ? Thanks

I will try to find out for you on Wednesday night. My motor delivers Tuesday and I have a club race Wednesday.
