LP servo
#1
Hi everyone,
I am thinking about upgrading my steering servo on my formula 1. Budget up to £70 (85$). I am looking mainly about precision and speed more than torque. I am using a Futaba radio and my speedo has a BEC of 6.0V
I have seen two options,
- Savox SB2263MGB 10 kg and 0.07s over 60 degrees
- Xpert PI-3431 10.2kg and 0.07s over 60 degrees
Have you used them? Any opinion? do they last long? How do they center?
Do you know another options on that price range?
Cheers
Javier

I'm not a fan of savox servos as they tend to be power hungry and develop play in the gears after not too much running. I've had a few they are ok for the money but much better out there. For your application I would suggest the Sanwa SDX-701 or SDX-801. I've got the 701 in my Serpent F110-SF2 and it has been flawless.
