Parts being run at a world are something that would be well tested imo.

I dont think it will be as long as you might think.

The new a-arms look like a production part which of course requires new molds. I doubt they'd spend the $$$$$$$$$$$ required for new molds if it wasn't a for sure deal. The only thing that still looked to be prototype phase are the front c-hubs and spindles. Those are still aluminum.

you guys aren't taking into consideration all the extra stuff that goes into producing a new kit though. Parts aside, they still have to do all the literature, cover art, setup testing to offer a base line, plus they have to produce enough inventory to actually be able to sell them. Will there be a new kit? Yes. There will ALWAYS be a new kit. That's just evolution.

I'm just saying don't put a date on it yet. And yes I know you can get the parts and slap them on, which most of us will do

Cheers.

If it's too tall, you need to choose a different servo.

There is just so much space allowed, and you don't want to go taller than designed because it would put your steering link an an inefficient angle, if it will work at all. Don't try spacers on the servo saver side, as it doesn't work out well, and will produce too much slop.

What's the servo of choice for the eb48.3?

Ive seen a lot of people run Savox (1273) and Protec 150S as well as the old trusty Hitec 7955

you could try doubling up on the servo brace (part no TKR5060
) and using longer screws

It's still going to get the steering link at a bad angle though.

Cheers, I ordered different servos that should fit.
But I had to use spacers with a standard height servo on the saver's side to fit it on top of the horn, I guess that's a fault of Savox servos, but there really isn't room for anything else but standard sized servos on these Tekno kits :

Thank you, ordered. Wish I've tried that before mangling one of the collars on a brand new servo (entirely my fault):

Wouldn't spacers solve that though ?

I wonder if that servo is tall above the mounting ears compared other servos. Also, using a low mount servo horn would help as well. The Tekno horns lower the link quite a bit. http://www.teknorc.com/shop/tkr5251b...p-double-hole/

No, because when you have to stack a bunch of spacers on top of the steering arm, you introduce a ton of flex. The steering feel will be weird, it may not center correctly every time, and it will greatly increase the chance of breakage.

Be interesting to see what they come out with. One thing with the shock springs the do look pretty darn close to the shock body.

what advantage are the tekno vehicles seeing by running the chub setups still versus the pivot ball that others are doing?

I'd really like to see what a Kysoho / HB style c-hub front suspension could do on a narrow chassis car like the Tekno. I'm not sold on the Tekno / TLR style c-hub. It's just too edgy.

Official Polish National Championship - my Tekno takes 3rd place. Tough weekend, bad weather, different conditions every hour - was a lot of fun! Fought hard, missed just a few seconds for the top spot.
I had no single issue for the whole season with this buggy. Amazing car.
