I apologize if my comment seemed harsh or uncalled for. It certainly wasn't directed at anyone just walking into this thread. I've subscribed since the early days. I've been a big proponent of this class in my local area as I find the speed just right for myself. I'm a bit ballistic in TC. But The bodies have been a ceaseless argument for this class, and I was ever so thankful to finally have a set list. And I like the caveat to let clubs run what they wish.(Our club runs as the rules are written with the only caveat as some bought hot rods and they can run that body till it's destroyed) But every 1-2 weeks the same body comes up, and we do the rounds.
It's killing the fun.

I come for the race. I could care less for "Race Livery". I'm not a looks guy. I'm about function. All my cars are painted the same. Yellow for brightness to see. Black on top to hide carpet burns. Red in front so I know which way I'm heading after a marshaling. This class gives the closest A mains at our track.

Let's live with the rules.

That is awesome. But to me that is about the same as a TC body ( Looking wise ) Is it a Camaro?

Yes that's matts paint scheme on all his cars . he is 15 and wanted that paint over a "proper race paint cause it looks cool" so I'm not arguing

I'd prefer to question ones I do not agree with.

This question might have already been answered. Are bodies included from the Super GT racing? Thanks.

Yes most of the Tamiya bodies on the list are actual Super GT cars from the Japan series.

Thanks, Kevin K, for the quick reply. I went to one of the Super GT websites. I noticed that some the cars in that series resemble some of the McAllister prototype bodies and the Wildcat body. I wonder if the could be considered for next year?

I have a question hoping someone can help me out with. I'd like to build (convert) a rwd touring car from an existing 4wd touring car kit (tamiya based). Would this be legal to run in USGT? If it is, is there a minimum weight?

Vapour,
My best guess would be "no".

"Chassis Specification:
Any 1/10 4wd or Fwd sedan with 4 wheel independent suspension"

No...it needs to be FWD or 4WD
