Default LRP /Track Star compatibility issue..

Guys. having a weird problem. I threw together a 235 Associated 10L car with a low wind LRP X12 vector (old new motor) and put in a Track Star speedo
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...approved_.html .
Car seemed to run fine for about 1 minute. Then it just shut down. I let it sit for one minute (motor not hot at all) then turned speedo back on. It seemed like it would accelerate fine one time then it would just stutter and stop. Sensor wire is new and appears to be plugged in all the way. Could this just be a compatibility problem since this is an older brushless motor?..stumped...

Check your low voltage cut-off in the ESC. Make sure ESC is set up for proper number of cells.
