I doubt ups is even shipping on the 4th so even if it was very early July our kits would be delayed atleast a day or in my case my Nero won't be here until Tuesday or Wednesday i assume

I didn't see this explicitly covered in the wiki -- can you put a B6 gear diff in a B5M?

I ordered the B6, but am going to keep my B5M for my son and will probably throw the gear diff in there if it fits, just for easy of maintenance/durability reasons. I'll definitely be using a ball diff in my B6.

i dont think so; according to this post a few pages back:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/14581128-post941.html

the b6 gear diff is 2mm wider than the one for the b5. you can shim the b5 gear diff to drop into the b6 but not visa versa

I should have a B6D next week in Australia, getting a bit worried about part availability.

Amain has nothing listed, LA parts has them listed but no stock of spares.
What are you guys doing for spares?

Parts should be available on or before July 11th. From rc10.com, your LHS, etc.

Also the car is VERY light! I built it with only a few option parts and only 1 of them being lighter weight which was the Ti Turnbuckles and weighed in at 1498 and that's with 25 grams under the battery, it is the Reedy 3900 low profile battery though. So if you add just the AE Ti screw kit & light weight body you will easily be able to run a full sized battery and the brass C mount and still be under weight.
