And also what do you guys use for the body holes? I have steel drill bits but like I said want to make a NICE body for once....it's really the only one I have tried to make let's get real. Will drill bits be a problem or are the reamer s really worth the money?

Ya that's what a guy here at work said to do and then use a star screw driver to slowly make it a bit bigger. Now that the cdn dollar is SLIGHTLY better I'm gonna most likley get the RS1 body or the crx....not sure yet for sure.
I have a Tamiya one in my RC tool box, and this one in my garage for my real car stuff. Works great.http://www.amazon.com/Hobbypower-Exp...eywords=reamer
Also recommend you get one of these for perfectly round wheel arches.
But on my Tamiya Rover Mini bodies I use a curved scissors and sand paper to get the nice round arches.

Good tip: if you want to get a shell really low on either (so you don't have a Miata with its ass in the air) use m03 front mounts at the rear. Different hole positions, but no big deal.

Use a body reamer, OR a drill then go over the hole on the outside and inside w/ a dremel sanding tool using a tapered cone piece (to soften the edges of the hole).
...but don't try to widen it by sticking a screw driver through it.
the RS1 body, is that made by Tamiya? Its blitz or something right?
Do you plan to race your Tamiya? (sorry if I missed that). ...if so and if where you race follows TCS rules then you won't be able to use the RS1 body. You'll want to run w/ the CRX body (provided is the one made by Tamiya).

I would love too but can't find any around here. The body is my first one to make nice so I'll start with the cheapest maybe lol. Was thinking of a 911 too but....the RS1 shape looks appealing. I'll try the reamer tool....there's always a right tool for the job and if I want it to be nice then I think that'll make a bit of a difference....before I suck at the painting and taping lol. Does anyone use the body reinforcement graphite things and do they make a difference?? I may just pick em up and see how they are. Less body roll is better than rubbing on the fenders.
The horizontal body post support does not need to be graphite to be useful. I do use them on my higher performance chassis as my Rover Mini bodies are tall and requires the added rigidity for the rear posts.
I even wrap the post with tape before I slide the support through to ensure there is no play. Check my albums pages for the supports I use (and made) especially the 4WD mini's I have.

I like the Blitz bodies, I've used the GTI and RS1 in 1mm lexan. I like the RS1 better for style. A friend has a porche but proportions aren't very real and kind of cartoony in medium wheel base.
A drill bit and a hobby knife or dremel to clean up the holes works fine. The body reamer is a nice to have, but that money could easily go towards parts, tires or other set up tools that will improve your handling.
