Default Trakpower?

Is Trakpower getting killed off like most of the other brands that Hobbico destroys? I have noticed everyday that the MS-1 speed controllers keep getting discontinued. They are great speed controllers for the money. I was hoping that they would keep making them and then maybe release a pocket programmer. Also seems like a lot of their batteries are getting discontinued on Tower as well. Not sure if I should start ditching them now or wait and see. I went down this before with the O'donnell 1/8 scale stuff.

If anyone has any idea as to what is going on over there, please give me a heads up.

The company that made the esc is changing so I would say Trak Power isn't going any where but will be evolving here in the new few months. I liked that speedo when I needed something smaller than my Castle MMP's so that was my go to. Not sure on the time frame but I'm sure we will be seeing a revised esc setup from Trak Power.

They just announced new batteries on 06/2015
They changed the look, made them prettier. And there new Lipo's are 100C rating with a higher MAH as well. I just purchased some 2S 100C saddle trakpowers yesterday. That's why all the other ones are getting discontinued. There just updating them is all, Keeping up with the competition.

Trakpower is not going anywhere.

I think they make the best soldering stations around, some of the best chargers available, engine warmers, tire warmers! Power supplies.

You name it! They cater to racers, and everyone else for that matter.

There product is expensive, but high quality! And worth it.

I agree that their quality is awesome. I have the soldering station, 2 MS-1 speed controllers, brushless motors and batteries. I don't have any issues with their products, that's why I am wondering if I should stay on as a fan boy or move on. I don't care about a new speed controller, if one is coming, I would be move excited about a handheld programmer for my MS-1.

Never tried there motors, or speed controls. But, I'm eager to hand over my money for one of there chargers, and more batteries.

All there stuff is great!
