I just have a one day since the conversion. No extra wear on the out drives. Just slop but it's an Associated so that's nothing new lol

This might solve your problem with a little sanding

Tried my TC4/Yo Dog conversion with TC7 front suspension out Friday Night. I was impressed. The new plastics are far superior to the old TC4 stuff, stiffer and stronger. The DCJ work well, the steering is smooth and the car handled better 3-4tenths quicker. I have to find a better Steering rack, thinking of trying the one from the Exotek Evo6 conversion kit they have. The Cheap Chinese Aluminium rack I have in it has way to much slop. Yo Dog if your reading this we need you to design a modern Steering Rack for this car.

I like a plastic ball diff and plastic dogbones front and rear, saves weight and is so much easier for me to drive. Front tires last longer too, especially on the outdoor track I race on. Lighter drivetrain makes the throttle more snappy.

The TC6.2 DCV mod replaces the Average Joe's Losi mod, and it sure sounds like a good idea if you run a spool.

I use the Kimbrough servo #201

Make sure you get some spare outer hinge pins #3878 , Screw with Shoulder # 3875 and the block carrier bushings #3874. If you crunch a front corner it'll yard sale those small parts all over the track.

Hobbyking has some new shocks under the Trackstar name that look very promising.

Tc3 foam bumper and NTC3 wide plastic bumper help protect the front end:

I bought a set of these TrackStar LP shocks for another car and have to say that they are pretty good. Maybe better than the V3 AE shocks! They are available in different lengths and big bore too. For $12 a pair they can't be beat. I hope a better spring selection Will round these out nicely.

I've been pretty happy with the yokomo springs so far for long shocks and the RSD 20mm springs for short shocks

Where to buy replacement bladders for the FT TC4 aluminum shocks? I did the VCS2 upgrade, and need some more bladders.

Did you need anything extra to mount them up?

So these are both "O" Circle blocks yet one is taller than the other...

Which ones are newer? I'm guessing the shorter ones? Maybe
