it is 0.4 module. However you can use 64dp pinions with it. I have always mixed and matched them (0.4 mod and 64dp) and never had an issue, along with a car that has a quiet and smooth drive-train.

Hey, guys, I changed the spur gear this past weekend. And it was a tamiya part, forgot the part number but it was a 96t 64 p spur gear.
I found I couldn't use shim for this gear at all, while I could put 2 X 0.2mm shim with the spur gear came with the car.
So now, I just attached the e-clips on the end.
It has very tiny tiny play , maybe about 0.05mm or even less, it spins forever though.
I am just curious what you guys solution to this? Did you guys shim it or just did what I did?

Honestly with 0.05mm play I wouldn't bother.
Remember play is actually not bad at all!
So long of course it's not 1.5mm

Btw - what C blade are you guys using? Tamiya white or pink (roche)? I couldnt buy anywhere the pink, looks out of stock...any good replacement?
I also tried xgear spring, for me it works much better than yokomo blue on med carpet, technical. Now i am waiting for low towers and shocks to test and further improve

It depends what towers you use. The ones I did were for those shocks you list above. The big bore ones are the same length as the TRF short, but allow more oil. These allow you to use proper 25mm springs. Here is a track test by someone that got a set.

Theres a few good writeups explaining what you would like to know on thercracer.com . There on the low profile and the xrlp which if I remember correct is the super low profile shock towers.

Used the supplied ball studs that come with the shocks with the grub screw.

There are 3 sizes, from back to front
- Std kit ones
- 25mm spring low profile towers
- 20mm spring low profile towers
The 25mm spring ones allow you to use 25mm springs with the TRF Short, or TRF Mini Big Bore Dampers. You could theoretically use the kit shocks with these towers but you will need to use 20mm springs to get to 5mm ride height. More info here on this link
The 20mm spring towers (Same sort of height as the Raceberry ones). These need 20mm springs to work and you will need the shorter TRF shocks (and I should hope to confirm that the Xray short ones will also work this week). The std 419 shocks will not work with these at all. I hope to do more testing with these this week as I have the X-Ray springs now. A fellow TRF runner has got a set to test with the X-Ray shocks to check they fit fine (He game me the X-Ray shock lengths so it should be fine, but until confirms that this week I cannot guarantee they fit). The 25m ones work really well. Most of the TRF guys I know are running a set of these now and enjoying the results. The 20mm need more testing, but I think some tracks will be better suited for 25mm springs (not super smooth) and others like competition carpet tracks would be great with 20mm springs. But I am enjoying testing them.
BTW, these towers are all made for non, profit. I literally do not make 1 penny from them. They are aimed for TRF racing community, Feeback is appreciated, but think of it as a collaborative effort, if tweaks etc are needed I will try to do it in my spare time.

I used Black XRay Shocks and Springs and the TRF 419 2mm Chassis with Steering Brace. The new Lower Shock Tower from RCRacer fit very well and thank you very much
Next time I fill my Shocks and check my Setup.
Check out my picture below, I used some Yokomo Parts and more and more XRay Parts

I have similar sized shocks, I fitted them to my car and at the front it was ok, but the rear didn't quite hit the bottom. This should be able to be fixed by shaving the bottom of the lower ball connector (The plastic part) as the car does bottom out if the spring retainer is removed. so you just need to make a few changes.
Sorry I cant help any more, hopefully I will get more feedback on them from the people that asked me to make them. So I would hold off buying the 20mm super low ones for a day or two.
