Default Charger problem

Hi, i have an eco power charger (an amain.com brand). It was working fine, since last charges of Nano Tech 2s packs. It charges for 30 minutes or so, then make the beep as it was full charged, but the message prompts capa lipo2, not full as usual. Then I have to press the start button and keep it charging until it is full. Do you think the batteries has something to do?. I just charged a protek 2s pack and it charged until was full. Hope you can help me.

Thanks

sounds like your battery is out of balance ,, Its reading the total charger of both cells , butt one cell is lower in voltage ,, might want to discharger your battery to storage voltage 7.8 then charger it up , always balance charge your batteries .. hope this helps ..

Thanks mb, I was discharging one pack (never done before) but canīt do it in one attempt, after two tries it has, 23% 3.7 3.5 or so. Donīt know if I have to discharge until itīs 0%

I run into this often on my cheaper battery packs. I thought it was just the quality of the cells. I don't race so no issue for me even if one of them is a tad weaker, still much more powerful than my NiMh or NiCd.

I too balance charge each time though..

The only time you want to discharge to 0% is when you want to post something cool on Youtube. LOL. I put mine in storage at 3.8 V so you're about right. .2 V difference isn't a huge deal but if your charger has a cycle option you could run through a few cycles (it'll take a while) to even them out a little more.

Just an update. I verify the charger setup and found a parameter that says 3000 mah, something like charge protection. I was trying to charge 5300 mah batteries, thatīs why I couldnīt make it. I move up that parameter and everything is fine now.

Thanks for all your comments.
