Default Considering a switch - Opinions needed

Hello,

I'm currently racing with a Spextrum DX4R Pro that ive had for about a year, I've really grown as a driver and a racer with the radio but lately I've been having issues with the radio. Here they are:

1.The travel with the radio is off, the only example I can give is that there is about an inch or so of turn left on the wheel even after the servo is at full tilt. Tried adjusting the travel but makes no difference. This causes me to be at full tilt when driving because I think I'm only partially turned but it's engaging far sooner than I'm telling it to.

2.Glitches. SR2000 micro receiver has an amazingly small footprint but it simply would cut out in my RT6 running a savox servo and R10 Pro for no reason. Tried a cap/glitch buster and issue persisted. Putting a 410 in the truck solved the issue. Similar issue with my new XB4, Reedy Servo and R10 pro, at one point I thought it might be the ESC but then swapped a Tekin Rs that I had and issue persisted, swapped in an old S301 receiver and works. Sometimes when you turn the radio on before the car, the receiver doesn't engage and you need to shut the radio off and then turn it back on and then it comes on.

These are my issues. I tried an Airtronics MT4 the other day and it felt really good. I'm considering the MT-4S with the backlit screen.

My question is do you other racers out there think my issues are uniquely Spektrum issues, or will I likely have them with another brand and that's just the lay of the land with current transmitters/receivers?

Would the MT4S be considered by any of you as an upgrade over the DX4R pro?

Thanks!

I've not experienced much issue with my DX4S besides the AVC receiver the 4120 or 4210 whatever it was called repetitively loosing bind. I tossed that receiver.

I have had ZERO issues with my other radio's. For $300 range I would definitely consider the MT4S, but silly me, I would opt for the M12S if Airtronics just for the vanity factor.

Dx4s is a different radio than I have with different receivers, it's not apples and oranges but it's close. Decided to try the MT4-S sine the M12 isn't much faster I guess.
