Did anyone find the image in the middle of page 14, where you see the orientation of the left rear wheel hub, is the wrong way around?
(In the Detail box explaining leaving a small amount of side play)
If you install this part as pictured, the wheels do not firmly grip the hub before you screw them on, if you put the larger rib to the outside, then the rear wheels fit how they should..

Also, I ran this car for the first time on Sunday, was a weapon, Ulti XM front, Ulti XSS rear on low grip large asphalt track with a 4.0T. It was on rails with pretty much kit setup, cross-chassis config.

Which servos work without modding or shoe gooing? I see a lot of old threads about hacking servos in and I'm hoping to order a servo that natively fits. Thanks!

X12 2016 has universal mount that you slide the servo fir best centering. Therefore any servo that is designed for 1/12 will work

What foam bumper best suits the X12?

I heard CRC and Serpent ones may fit?

I like the look of Hagberg's bumper in the photo below.

That looks very similar to the Associated 12R5 bumper that I use on mine, which does fit very well:

The Associated bumper looks identical to Hagberg's, and is what I have on mine.

Does anyone have a good method for rebuilding the rear pod with zero tweak , the rear pod is a very awkward shape and I haven't yet found a perfect method for rebuilding it yet , any step by step process would be appreciated , when the track surface is right and the tyres hook up 1/12 is the most fun I've had so far...

Hi, trying to get back to 1/12 scale racing. Just bought a used 2016 X12 and starting to set it up. On the basic carpet setup I found on Team Xray's site, it said rear at 3.8 mm and front at 3mm
I have put in the shims from the stock setting and then added more to lower it and could not get it that low. Will be running on CRC black carpet. Any other ways of lowering other than truing the tires?

So the answer is to true the tires to the ideal size. No other way around it.

Looking to try the x12 in a new 1/12 GT class. Does anyone know which longer body posts may fit the x12 so I can run the gt body?
