Default VBC D06 Gear Ratio

Hi All
I have the VBC D06 running in a 17.6 blinky class. I am told I ideally need a final ratio of around 3.05.
can any body help me here as whatever size of spur/pinion I try I just cannot get it to fit without fowling the chassis or the red motor post!
HELP PLEASE
(sorry if I am being thick)
Mike

You must have a very tight and small track....final drive of 3.0 anything is way small.

Couple questions before an exact answer.
1. What motor are you using?
2. what are the track measurements? Lap times too?

First without those answers. I would start in the 3.80 range first.
If your running a 96spur to 101 you should have plenty of room to not have any fitment issues.

I run 3.06 with an 88 spur and 54 pinion, obviously 64dp but it fits fine in my D06
