INTECH Racing ERSC-10 4wd 1/10 Short Course SCT Pro Kit
#197

The Summer Scorcher was held at Phil Hurd Raceway this past weekend.
Brain Case had an exciting race he experienced. Brain went from 5th to 10th at the beginning due to the mistake. Fortunately, he finished 5th with the ERSC-10!

Team Intech Switzerland had a great weekend at the Dirt Track Dielsdorf. This past weekend was the 5th Round of Alpencup in Switzerland. Intech's Tamar Schäfer made his way to victory with his ERSC-10. Intech's Christoph Schefer would finish second with the ERSC-10 also. Durango's Manni Guhl brought home third with the DESC410. Congratulations to you all!

The weight is in the front, so run a higher front ride height, use the green dot hard front progressive springs and softest rear springs for more weight transfer to the rear. Use more rear toe in (1 out). For more side traction, use 1 down for the anti-squat also. Also modify and mount the buggy rear arm mud guards to make the truck jump more level. Try 7/5/3 in the diffs to slow the steering down and give more rear traction. Run the rear hubs forward and front arms forward. Use the inside holes for the rear outer hinge pins for more forward traction. Use thinner rear shock oil so it squats more.
took out raced it this weekend and handled much better still a little loose in the rear but much better

I am a newer part time racer. Ran a 4wd Slash for the previous 3 years which I modified with an STRC LCG and eventually a custom CF chassis. Picked up a partially built ERSC-10 this summer to replace the Slash. I was looking for something that would have a more robust drivetrain than the Slash. The center diff and bearing design just didn't hold up well.
Thus far I have found the ERSC to be a wonderful truck to drive on the rougher outdoor tracks. The additional tunability has been great. Haven't had it on indoor clay...yet...
Of the 4 times out so far. I have placed 1st with it at 2 tracks. At my home track where I started racing, I set my fastest lap by 2 seconds and had my fastest average lap by 3 seconds with the ERSC-10. The other 2 trips out were to TnT Speedway in Shreveport. The caliber of talent present at TnT is quite above my talent and the track is very challenging. I have ended up at the bottom of the A-Main with some breakage issues on both visits to TnT. Overall I have found the truck to be a great choice over the Tekno I had been considering. In addition, it shares some parts with my old BR-5 E-conversions.
I do have 1 problem area that I would like some input on. The front bumper and body posts flat suck. Has anyone come up with a modification for the truck? And yes, I have bought, and broken, brand new parts on it. I have been to the track every weekend for the past 4 weeks, a first for me!!! During that time I have seen 3 different tracks and broken body posts 3 weekends at 2 tracks. In addition I broke the front bumper both times visited one of the track. I recognize the failures are due to my inconsistent handling of the large 8th scale jumps, BUT my Slash never had this issue. At present I am planning to run a buggy front bumper (I also have the BR platform) and try to mount some Proline posts. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Here is my attempt at eliminating the body post issue. I used PL thumb screw body posts screwed into the ERSC10 support. I used the PL support from my old race Slash platform between the posts as a brace and support. We shall see after the Southern Nats in West Monroe this month. My 1 "big" race I go to every year. Here's the pics:
