FYI I changed his 2015 Ready race set up just a tad for this layout.

2 mm of limiters in the rear shocks and 1 degree of anti squat to keep the back end from coming around off power on the sweeper/roller after the straight.

I use Gold Dirt Webs front and rear with AKA foams.
Thanks for the info :-) is any one running AKA chainlinks?

Another nice to have would be the shock eyelets. Having to buy an $8 shock plastics package and throw away everything except the eyelets is hard to swallow.

Also, I can't seem to find diff gaskets without buying a spur gear. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

No worries...With the shortage of dirt webs...its pretty common that the go to are Chainlinks.

Haven't tried them on the D413..but i have on my mod 2wd. The difference is super minimal at best. As long as they're broken in...they will be just fine.

+1...i looked all around and they don't seem sell the gasket or o-rings separate. Which is annoying. When I change the fluid those are part of the rebuild.

I have some Kyosho P5's coming to see how those do on the next rebuild..currently I'm just reusing the gasket.

We will be down your way next Friday. Are you racing? Will have the wheeler there for some mod testing. Up here we run a 13.5 blinky with the mods and always finish ahead.

Wish I was...Next weekend has negative ghost rider all over it..moving sucks!

ohhhh 13.5 blinky? TBO...its freaking stacked down here and the track was designed for the "Stock Nats" so it's pretty open and fast. I would say add some timing for sure.

Dont know how long you're down here...but if you have time...try to also hit up IERC. It's another great indoor track down here. It's a little over an hour away(a bit out of your way) They also race on Sat, but open practice is on Sunday.

If you're heading back on Sunday...then there is a much smaller track on the way back up (off the 5) well really off the 14..just a few minutes though..but same direction @ SCVRC. Their racing starts at 2. The program is pretty short.

Finally put a mod in the buggy and it's as smooth with a 7.5 as it is with a 13.5 I think I want more power because I know the car can handle it

Broke a turnbuckle last night in a bad crash, thought I would have broke a lot more though. Ordered up some Lunsfords, anybody have any tips on using these?

Does anyone know if there's a problem soldering the motor wires from the back, or do they need to be routed around to the front? I've installed my esc behind the motor. Only problem is the wires hitting the body shell.

What is the orientation of your solder tabs? If you were looking at the end of the motor where the solder tabs are while the motor is in the car are the tabs at 12 o'clock?

Solder tab are approximately 1:30-2:00 (With 12:00 straight up) towards the outside of the car.

I think I just need to shorten the wires, I've given them a bit too much slack.

1:30 to 2:00 to the outside would be 10:30 to 11:00. How much extra wire do you have in your car?

But then I'd have to hear people crying on the driver stand when they blow their line in the main.
