I run the trackstar 21.5 with maxed timing at 3.4 fdr.

Having your antenna hanging out like that....it's obscene. Put that thing away.

lol. Other than that it's a really cool looking car though. Nice paint/wrap job!

That radio must be an antique. Reminds me of the antenna I had on my first RC plane, back in the late '80s.

That McLaren looks great in that color. I'm painting a HPI F1 McLaren in s similar color I custom blended for my WGT car.

I got to meet that Audi Team at Austin last weekend. They were 2nd fastest in final practice on Friday, but had a problem in qualifying Saturday and started at the back of the pack for the 1st race (50 cars in that race). By mid race he passed over 20 cars and was closing in on the number 14 GMG Audi R8 at the end. Don't know how the Sunday race went.

I like orange too but I fell in love with the GMG car #21 paint scheme. I took pictures in the pits and I'll down load them and post here soon. One thing I noticed was that the 1:1 Audi R8 wings hang from the supports rather than being mounted on top of the support.

The Audi driver (Mike Skeen) finished 4th in the Sunday race, which was in wet conditions. He Had a great battle for 3rd throughout the race. Also check out his YouTube channel. He has some excellent in-car or on-helmet videos he posts up of every race.

Regarding the wing mounting- I noticed that too. It has been done on prototypes for some time now, and some gt cars as well. It is because mounting to the bottom of the wing disrupts the pressure differential resulting in less downforce across the rear wing. In RC this doesn't matter as our "wings" are really just spoilers to create downforce. If we had an actual wing profile, then it would matter where the mount is. But who knows how much of an effect that would have at 1/10 scale.

Default Monster PFM-10

I was a little disappointed that this body is closer to 200mm than the advertised 190mm because that usually translates into a bit more drag and slower lap times for me. I'm Happy to report that this is a very slippery design with good down force. I layed down the fastest lap time for our latest medium size carpet layout.

I ordered mine the day they were released and just got the shipping notification yesterday. But glad to see that they made to some early and that we are already gets race reports.

What did you mean by "slippery body". I was also hoping it was closer to a true 190mmf. The Lexus LFA is the same way.

Meaning still good straight speed. I quit running the LFA because it had too much drag/downforce and was slower for me than a couple other bodies at that time. My PFM-10 measures 197 up front and 200 at the rear measured at the wheel openings from above.
