Default R603FF

Long story short, I'm looking to upgrade my electronics. I have a Futaba 3PM-X and an R603FF receiver. I want to upgrade to a 7.4V lipo receiver pack and some high voltage servos, but really don't want to upgrade my TX/RX.

Has anyone ran a R603FF at 7.4V without issues? I know I can purchase a voltage regulator, but that just seems counter intuitive. Any suggests/help is appreciated!

I would just try it. The Futaba fhss supports 7.4v so I'd be surprised if the higher end fasst didnt. Maybe send em an email?

According to Futaba's chart on this page, pretty much every receiver they make accepts high voltage. http://www.futaba-rc.com/receivers/f...ss-compat.html
