Default INS Filter boxes old style vs. new

I wanted to see if anyone was running the new 1/8 Novarossi INS Boxes on their cars. What are your thoughts on old vs. new style. Aside from its lower profile, how is your filter holding up, is it a smaller element inside?

Pros / Cons if any,

Thanks

I didn't really rate the old novarossi ins-box it always seemed to give the lowest performance. The new one is much improved airflow wise. I think the best box is the xceed one which seems to be the one almost everyone I know uses - high airflow and low profile.

Does this box, keeps the air filter cleaner.... or is just for noise reduction and performance reduction?

Noise reduction and as a result a performance reduction but the ins box is pretty much a sporting regulation worldwide these days so it's immaterial.
