Team Entity, due to the fact that my reference sites are gone and I could use some new stuff in my portfolio I'd be willing to do it.... I could even send you a .jpg mockup of what it could look like, that is standard for me to do anyway.... PM me and we'll talk...

Wicked, you are absolutely correct... Unless you are doing a database there is really no reason to be using asp or php, I was trying to make that point above.... Most visual stuff can be done with javascript or flash.... I go to many sites that would be a horror if I didn't have a high speed line and good graphics... I personally can't stand music on a site, there is no purpose to it, unless it's for your friends or promoting your band.... Paypal is nice but you're stuck paying their fee's... There are a few free shopping carts, you plug their code in the proper places and your done, just like paypal.... It's also extremely easy to cut up a psd in Imageready and let it make you a web page....

ok, maybe mine is unix. but i use databases

I have this Agora shopping cart but i think it looks a bit too cheap for my liking... can you recommend any other free carts?

although you can make a site completely from images, ie (www.mcmoneydesigns.com)

It tends to work better if the site is actually about images etc. but when doing a multi purpose site you need some actual code kind of thing.........

McMoney is all about images, he's selling images so he's really limited.... Although Music has no place in a ecommerce site... It takes bandwidth and it ends up costing you money and your customers time loading... Money too if they're on dialup....

I like Mals ecommerce... I don't know the link off the top of my head... They of course have their premium version too.... Once you go to a server side cart you're going to need to keep a programmer on hand....
