There is absolutely a fuel rule. Only certain ingredients are allowed for example not touelene. (probably not spelled correct.)

It was neither Serpent. No protest that I am aware of, but didn't have capability there to check fuel content allegedly.

I think Barry ran a 22.6 or something like that. Damn all I could run was low 24's. I hate the AE fuel tank.

anybody have the part # for the hpi standoffs that work when trying to mount a serpent tank in NTC3? I've about had it with the tank in this one car. The other NTC3 I've had were pretty much fixed when I modded the tank pressure inlet, but this last one is still crappy and is not letting my engine run to it's potential - I'm ready to go ahead and switch tanks all together now.

The guy that did some of Ralph's motor work was Jason Bell from J_Tech. Brian Berry who came in second place was also running a J-Tech motor. It looks like we're going to have another tuner to get motor work done.

There were a boatload of fast motors there. I would say the field was level for the most part. The front runners ran away because of a pile up out of the gate. Baker was cracking off some serious fast laps but was to far behind to catch up.

I'm home from vacation dude. Brad and I along with many people running my engine with the associated fuel system struggled. Brad and I less than others as I was constantly chasing the needle but the tank and the weather changes were killing us. Tank and chassis, diff pinions and trans cases got to go.

Druability issues on the NTC3 and tires hurt us. The car is killer its just delicate. I am ramping down engines to the public and going off to create some better parts for the NTC3. I twisted a front pinion out in my main during the warm up and even though I had finally gotten the right tire and a fairly good setup combo. running the main in 2wd don't get it.

Is this a freak thing or are any of you running NTC3's twisting out front pinions at the drive pin while using a one way??

Mugen didn't have enough gear to be competitive. The 24 pinions they needed didn't show. I TOLD ROBBIE GET ME SOME GEARS AND i'LL RUN MY MUGEN AGAIN !!!

Talking Tuned pipes, etc!!

Mike,

It would be awesome if you could make a tuned pipe for the Rear Exhaust NTC3 thats ROAR legal. Maybe two or three variations for the type of track and gearing and clutch engagement, etc. Something with more bottom end punch than the stock pipe, but can still carry speed down a 200" straight would be great!!! Sign me up to buy and test the prototypes!!!
