I actually had someone use my car who normally drives with an m8, and he said that the car felt more responsive to driver input. But that could be because he had an m8 and i had a helios.

So how are you liking your helios? Amazing radio, isnt it? O ya, a tip for you, only turn on the backlight when you really need it, because i noticed, with cheaper batteries, the backlight tends to drain them really quick, like i could be at 10.7 volts and then it drop all the way down to 9.5 volts in less then 3 minutes. But with the backlight off, i can make 10.7 volts last me the whole weekend.

Not only that...but you can actually mount it into a tight space...

The KO is small but youneed to leave access for the crystal sinceit slides int eh side instead of the face..

I was going to buy the Helios radio but it felt really cheap compared to my M8. The quality just didn't seem to be there.
Any one else experience this?

Do you mean the novak, because the ko slides right into the top, not the side?

Believe me...The Helios is anything BUT a cheap radio. It kills any other radio!

Actually, I would say the 3PK is better. More features, better look, way better/bigger display and good quality feel. And the adjustable steering wheel is included, meaning a lower total price. I cant see even one area, where Helios is better than 3PK. The only thing could be the feel of grip, but that's very personal anyway...
