I've been running dirt techs in the dirtwebs which are fantastic when the track is moist and has grip. When running on a lower bite track I can't get the dirtwebs or any other tire to hook up with closed cell foams, open foams work a ton better. I've tried the rolling pin, trimming the inside edge, and punching holes in the foams. Does anyone else still use open cell foams or just me? I hate open cells by the way!

No plans at this time.
We use the stock foam all the time outdoors. Sometimes the stock white foam is just better

I picked up a set of SC Dirt Web golds and blacks. The inserts seem to be from 2 different manufactures. The gold inserts fill the tire but the blacks leave an air gap between the foam and tire. They are also different colors of blue. Last year, I picked up a set of black barcodes and their inserts were the same way. Is the black SC compounds designed to have a smaller insert since typically they will be ran on lower bite surfaces or is this a supplier/manufacturing issue??
