Default Capacitor wiring

Hey everyone,

Just a quick question. Do capacitor banks really have a positive and negative lead? I always thought they work the same "in both directions" ... ie I can wire it which ever way I want.

Yes they have a pos/neg. They mark them usually.

Black line on the side is usually negative. It may be solid or broken.
