Please don't take it as a stickler consumer but that's the price I see on every site as it seems to be a MAP price. Again, I support JConcepts avidly (no pun intended) and intend to continue because you guys make great products. I just think it's a bit much as are many small products littering the hobby from a multitude of manufacturers.

Ahh...You are referring to the newer 2341 wheel nuts which retail for $22 and sell for $18. Again, these are a fully machined wheel nuts (not cast/forged) and have an oversized flange. The large flange and clamping surface area supports the wheel and helps maintain geometry during flex and load. The larger area also provides more footing for the serrated area which provides a more comfortable lock-down.

Keep in mind most of these smaller items from various manufactures are specific to r/c and are precision machined lower volume items (100's vs 10,000's). In the case of wheel nuts, almost all of the ones on the market are actually for multiple industries and are made by the 10's or 100's of thousands.

Thanks again for the support and feedback.

Most manufactures just buy bulk/mass produced nuts from a fastener supply manufacture and stick their label on them. We however wanted something unique and precision machined to set ours apart .

That is what is so great about this hobby; you can pick and choose almost anything and everything to fit your need or budget.

btw...All press releases have full retail pricing listed do to distribution; this is the case for all major manufactures.
You can't please everybody!
Heck take a look at Associated 3X1.4 shock pistons, $12 for 4 pistons...

We have run them on a sealed clay track (NewRed Hobbies) here in FL and they were awesome. The guys at SRS in AZ have been running them with great success as well. I believe that's a hard packed damp clay track.

I'm not sure, will have to check on it.

It would be nice if certain spares were available individually.
I've spent a lot of money on JC products......
I hit a curb with my worlds car, (mangled it) and lost one of the nuts on the bellcranks....
Without that nut, the whole set is basically useless unless I want some mis matched looking thing in the front of my car.
If I want to replace the nut, I gotta spend 30 bucks on an entire new set.
This ain't right mah brotha.

I'm with Nick on that. replacement parts should be available for complete systems. What if the nut simply backed out and it got lost that way? What then?

Don't trust the product(s) you bought? LOL

I would give JC a call and tell them what you typed here. I bet they would be able to get something figured out.

Lol.....it ain't like I was trying to hit the curb...
Something wigged out while I was adjusting the throttle trim. It just took off full throttle (with a 5700kv motor) across the parking lot and met its fate...(picture below)

.........
I did email them with what happened. I even went heavy (real heavy) on the sob story.
They told me they looked around and couldn't find a spare and the stuff gets sent to them already packaged.

.........
I'm looking at it from my stand point....I have 2 gold pans and 1 worlds than I hooked up with the jc goodies....All within a couple months.
That's 6 carbon fiber shock towers...3 carbon tranny n 3 brattery braces...3 sets of bell cranks....3 sets of titanium turnbuckles ... 3 sets of wing tubes....3 sets of nose braces....2 honeycomb motor plates etc....
That's a lot of money...One set of turnbuckles alone is close to 50 bucks.
That's over 500 bucks of jc stuff on 3 cars...
After all that, all I need is one nut and I gotta spend 30 bucks for a whole new set to replace it? It can rub you the wrong way....
...I spent too much already. (Not that I'm complaining about that....It's just a lot of money).

A pic of the carnage .....That's some nice carnage...lol
When's the last time you've seen an rc10 front end looking like this...
