1/12 forum
Hi folks, need your help :-( .
After racing 1/12th from 1986 till 1990 and 2000 till 2004 I wanted to race again in 2011. So I bought an RC12R5.1, LRP SXX Version 2, new radio and servo. Unfortunately I didnt find the time to use it. Until now! Next weekend I would like to race at our hobby fair. So bought 3 used LRP 1S LiPos and a X20 10.5 stock spec motor. Today I built it and wanted to program the ESC. Off course I selected 3.2V 1S LiPo cut off. Unfortunately, the ESC shuts off imediately after switching it on, even with a fully charged battery pack with over 4.0V.
Is this a known failure? Should I reprogramm the ESC without cutoff or is my ESC broken?
Thanks for your help!

A LRP SXX v2, has 4 steps for cut off and 10 and 10 for feel and boost .

.I have no idea why they changed the amount of voltage cutoffs from 4 to 2 and reduced other tuningpossibilitys as well
, but I really dont care, as long as I can concentrate on my driving instead of bumbling about with my ESC
!Thanks to all who answered for your opinion!

I am getting into 1/12 scale now that a track is back on line near me. I've seen plenty of people ask about roll out and be given suggestions for where to start, but I want to know how to apply the result. I am running 17.5 with 47mm tires. The track is asphalt with about 100 foot back stretch. What should the roll out be compared to? I prefer to understand the application rather than just "start with 90".
Can someone explain this?
