Currently have a Hitec X4 ac/dc that does a great job of charging all my lipo receiver packs. Now that I'm getting into the electric side of the house I'm looking for a charger that will do a good job of charging these larger 4s hard packs (5000-7000mAh). From a previous post I have concluded that my current charger would take quite a while to charge up these packs so Im looking for something with more juice. What do you guys recommend? I'm open to needing a power supply also.

iCharger series. I have the 308 Duo and it's a great charger. It does require a power supply.

That junsi 308 or 406 chargers look amazing. Just make sure you have a power supply that can power it. You can parallel charge same cel count on each side, ie up to 6 2s packs on one port at 40 amps if you have the adapters. Check out the site listed above www.progressiverc.com

Not trying to hijack the thread... But I have a similar situation with the X4 AC charger... My question is - Can you use an external power supply with a higher amp/wattage to speed up the charger... Since it's limited to 50w per charge lead on AC current?
Thanks

There are some chargers that are capable of higher power on DC than AC, but I don't believe this is one of them.
