Default Sanwa RX-461 Telmetry Range

So I recently picked up the MT4 Golden Edition which was paired with the RX-461 and the necessary telemetry rpm/temp sensors. Bind and calibrated everything nicely and I was good to go tho I did pick up an additional temp sensor and a magnetic rpm sensor from 9Turbo from Smith who is based in Thailand. Some of you might have seen his products.

Anyway so I was getting a really good range off the MT-4 doing jumps and what not with my Vorza until I noticed that the telemetry wasn't visible after my Vorza passed say a good 3-5 meters out. Yes the range is EXTREMELY short and ran it a few times before the telemetry went out.

I can run my Vorza off about 1.5-1.8km out, get steering, throttle and reverse going at that range but not for the telemetry. Is it because my Vorza is moving too fast? The MT-4 managed to record 49km/h as the highest speed off my buggy and not anything higher. I'm not sure if this has to do with the type of sensor I'm using.

I doubt the 9Turbo sensors used would affect the performance of the telemetry range. I haven't try removing both the 9Turbo rpm and heat sensors to check the telemetry range. Should I be giving that a shot?

Anyone else had the same issue or is MT-4 telemetry suppose to be for short-course purpose which I'm probably unaware of? If so, then it would totally make sense for it be going off at about the range mentioned. Although it still does seem rather short.

Able read mine at least 30 meters away on my MT4G3. I'm using the temp sensor only, and it's from sanwa not from 9Turbo though. Been working flawlessly.

I don't think moving too fast is affecting it.
