To run the v2 front arms, you will also have to run the v2 shocks. The v2 shock bodies are shorter to make up for the higher mounting point on the flat arms.

No, only the front are different. The only difference is the body length. Your current top, bottom, seals, & shaft are the same. I imagine you could use internal spacers bellow the piston on the shaft to get the same effect (shorter movement inside the shock body), but there will probably be some trade off in how the shock feels.

Also the v1 rear shock shaft is 55mm but the v2 is 52mm this is because of the v2 rear tower which is 2mm lower and has 2 more shock mounting point

It's always been 52mm, the old kit came with 55mm which was way too long. It was always best to replace them with the coated upgrade shafts which are 52mm. In my opinion the shafts on both front and rear have always been too long. Need to remove 4mm from the front and rear using internal spacers or the droop screw for the car to handle better.

Hey guys! just purchased a DEX210v2 going to be running on indoor clay and would like to know what setups do you all recommend? I was looking at a tiken RS GEN2 with a 13.5turn motor.. what pinion would i run? I have a Castle sidewinder 3 with the 5200kv motor but im unsure if that would be any good in this buggy? any other recomendations out there? thanks

Off the big table top even when I land all four wheels on the downslope I find it wants to cartwheel or barrel roll and in lieu I have to skip off the top instead. On the big double-single sometimes after landing the car will drift sideways in a powerslide.
As I type this I realize that my issues happen when I land on the downslope, but if I overshoot the landing and land of the flat or the run-up to the next jump I am fine. Any idea what that can be?

Interesting Rear Shock tower setup obviously allowed more flex in the rear for the loose conditions, V1 rear arms and front bearing mod for 12mm hex I assume.

I'm wondering if the note he described of shorter wheelbase for front and rear is done on purpose, or just because when converting to front and rear hex the differences between TD wheels and other 2wd wheels the offset were not taken into account.
