Looks like they are making some progress on the F1's development.

You know what sucks about this thread?........the fact that I am now aware that Xray is working on an F1 and I have to wait for them to start shipping them.......damn I want one!

Can't wait to see what they have in store!

I think you're right, look at the front end!

Interesting that they went with the battery transverse vs. inline (maybe an option for either/or?). Also interesting that they went with the steering bellcrank. Can't wait to see how they configured the rear damper tubes / rear suspension.

Oooooooooh! My Tamiya F104 PRO V.2 might be heading for early retirement.

There are SO many cool F1 cars. This one would just add "insult to injury" since I don't think anything could get the class going locally.

At the 2014 IIC in Vegas I had a chance to ask Alexander Hagberg and Francesco Martini about the Xray F1 project. They both said it will be announced this December (it will be a Christmas kit release).

I was about to pull the trigger on a VBC Lightning, but perhaps I will wait to see what Xray has up their sleeve.

If that picture above is basically the new Xray, it is interesting to see the battery mounted across the car like the F103 style. More weight towards the rear of the car, surely the best idea for lower grip tracks.
