Careful free-reving your motors, peeps! Something I would never do.

Yeah never a good idea. I have seen motors seize/rotors explode by free reving.

Just got off the phone with trinity. All d4 17.5s are sold just over the weekend alone! They where going to ground ship through ups florida to cali and it wouldnt arrive till next tuesday. Payed an extra 10 bucks and it will be here in two days now. Super pumped!

Tower Hobbies has them in stock. They are for some odd reason priced at 121.99 but if you call they will price match. I had mine out the door with 2 day shipping for 112.99.

I think their system was having a hard time sending out email invoices cuz it took them a few tries for me to finally get the invoice which has tracking info on it. A nice guy named anthony kept resending and i finally received it. Anyhow, getting mines tomorrow, so yours prolly shipped accordingly when it should have

Thanks erik, did a lotta research on them meters and narrowed down to watt's up meter or one by astro flight

So the D3.5 rotors work with this motor? The as says the stators are interchangeable but doesn't say anything about rotors. Nothing special about the D4 rotor?

There was a correction posted. The rotors are interchangeable with the D3.5, not the stators.

You check amp draw with the rear wheels removed so its just the drive train attached.

If you have a good motor then freereving is ok. Here is Josh Cyrul demoing the new Motolyzer. You can see freereving didnt hurt anything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPI8hl9V_eQ

Its a fantastic tool if you have the extra cash. Maybe get a couple guys at your track to go in on one for everyone to use.
