LiPo vs Receiver

Hi,
I've some radio glitches on the last race due to use LiPo receiver pack with old spektrum receiver SR300 (SR3100 broken in previous race). I put a regulator on them and cero glitches.
Just want to know fi old DSM receiver don't "like" HV of LiPo packs.
What do you recommend me on receiver to use with LiPo? Spektrum receivers work with HV? Do I need to change my radio?

According to the Spektrum site the SR300 appears to be rated for up to 9.6V?
But without the regulator the amps being passed on to the servos would be higher, combined with more battery voltage sag under high servo loads that could lead to more voltage fluctuation which at the very least doesn't help. The regulator helps maintain a more consistent receiver voltage.
A glitch buster should help. And/or get a working 3100?

A glitch buster / stutter stopper / voltage protector / pick a name is a capacitor that plugs into any open slot in the receiver. It helps hold the voltage steady, filters out some of the short term fluctuations.
But on second thought I'm not sure how helpful it would be in your situation with a receiver pack. Typically they are used on electric RCs where the BEC section of the ESC only has a few amps of capability. I would think any decent lipo receiver pack would be capable of more, so the cap may not offer as much help in comparison.
They are fairly inexpensive though, if you do try it please let us know how it worked out.
