A lot of the drivers were shocked to see me let the faster drivers pass me. This was my intention from the very beginning, because I'd rather have a clean race while the faster guys could get by me without incident. I told them, I rather them pass me cleanly than be punted into the boards...

The majority of the stock class motors were

- Gstyle 21.5 high torque 14.0 mm rotor
- Team Powers 21.5

There were a few Trinity D3.5's 21.5's. But, the majority were the ones mentioned above.

The Gstyle motors were the dominant motor ( I'm being biased, because I had one). The large rotor and timing settings required a much higher roll-out. People were running 100 mm roll-outs.

I'm impressed with the Speedzone 4.0 with the stock rotor.

This is on 2s right? You wouldn't happen to know a dealer selling the 21.5 g style with 4.0 rotors would you?

Yes, I was running the 21.5 on 2 cell lipo. The Gstyle torque motors are insane!

If you click on this link, you can find motors offered with 14.0 rotors. I'm not to sure if you can have them shipped out of country.

http://www.team-trion.com/products/index.html Trion is another motor company that's just as good.

You'll have to do a little research and see if they will ship out of country.

Banzai sells them but not the 21.5 and g style doesn't ship to the usa. I'll look around, I wanted a 17.5 in the past also but no one sells them. Thanks anyways!

I forgot to mention. The Kyosho Team was testing out some new prototype parts for the Plasma Ra. I wasn't allowed to take photos of the chassis, however, I can say it utilizes a steering crank system similar to the Yokomo R12C3. The steering crank post was situated between the bulkheads, with the steering crank ball ends facing rearward. The steering crank they used is a part from the Kyosho KF-01 chassis. Interestingly, the crank system unit wasn't directly mounted to the main chassis. A separate piece of carbon fiber was mounted on top of the main chassis. The chassis was also different, it had a whole bunch of triangular cutouts, the battery layout and electronics were similar except the servo being moved back.

Hey guys, I tend to run my car with .2mm lower ride height in front than rear, with the rear pod even ride height at front and back of pod.
My questions are: what would happen if i ran "sag"?
In other words, say, 3.8mm front & middle, then 4mm at back of rear pod, so pod would be angling down a little?
Has anyone ever tried the opposite so the middle is higher than front and rear? What would this do?

Andrew, I use 2mm of droop on the rear pod of my Serpent and it handles great ,especially if there are a few bumps on the track.
