Default servo noise

Finally got my B5m running today. When I powered everthing up I noticed a constant whine noise comming from the car. It almost sounds like a old school brushed car that had the throttle trim up a few bumps. Thats the first thing I tried and it didnt work. Come to find out it seems like the servo. If I turn the wheel, it stops. When I release the wheel, it comes back. Or if I bump the trim once or twice it will stop (either direction) but as soon as I turn the wheel and let go, its back.
I have tried with and without the included powercap that came with the speed control. The servo is a brandnew hitech hs5565 (I think thats the model #).

Am I missing something?

If it is a digital servo, it is normal. Digital servos constantly look for center.

Thanks! Yeah, its digital. This is the first time ever running anything different than a S148 or S3003 and its my first car in 13 years. Sound is annoying, but ill get used to it. Thanks

You'll soon tune out of the normal noises digi servos make. Wow you'll really going to notice a night and day difference compared to those old basic servos!

Yeah, back in the day when radios came with servos, you ran what they came with. Unless you had a monster truck with big tires or something. Its amazing how fast this thing is. Try it on the track next week!
