Another 2s lipo thread......

If adding converters just adds more resistance, I guess I'll have to get better a soldering or have my hobby shop do it. So just one last question- My esc draws a maximum of 588 amps at 8.4 volts. How many will my motor draw of the 588? It is a cc 5700kv 1406 series motor.
Thanks

Or pick up a lipo that has white coming out of it ending in a deans. Then there's one connector.
Too many variable to know what wattage your motor will pull. Traction, vehicle weight, drag in the drive line and so on.
The only way to know what your vehicle is going to do is hook a watt meter inline and it will tell you the number
Some manufactures will give a watt rating but the same electronics in your truck at your track compared to my truck at my track will give different watt numbers.
Main thing is to get a lipo that will provide 130% of what the ESC could ever ask for on its best day.
