Tyres for sure, two holes in each tyre is plenty but Im sure others will chime in with there thoughts, holes in rims just allows water, dust, clay and dirt to build up inside around the tyre and foam

2 1/8 holes 180deg apart in tires. Unless your running sauce then you punch the rim.

Yes. Tire needs to inflate and deflate to work properly.

I just nip mine with body scissors after they are mounted. Never ever had a tire come apart or anything like that. One nip per tire. Cut so the flap lies to the back. Not really a flap though, pretty much just a slit, that curves to the back. Just pinch the tire and put a small cut angled toward back.

Two holes 180 apart from one another. On special tracks, we will pop 4 holes in tires,
12-3-6-9. Indoor tracks mostly. This also helps water to escape after they have been cleaned.

I tried both and the better result is put holes in the tire. Two holes on the opposite sides should be enough.

My aka Gridiron premounts come with one hole in the tire. I think I had some premounted proline tazers that came with 2 holes in the rims. FYI only.

I recommend you close them and put holes in the tires. My SC10 also come with holes in the rims which are ruined now because the dust gather inside with no way out and then after mixed with water ...

I have seen some wheels come with the holes in them already, can't remember specific brands, but most people put a wrap of tape inside to cover the holes. Holes in the wheels allows way too much dirt/dust/etc into the tire.

Like mentioned above, two small holes 180 degrees apart from each other in the tire is what 99% of people do. I use a leather punch to make a small hole.

Just to further extend the threat..

2 holes 180deg apart is what most do but where on the tire - center, off center, by the side and what is the difference - when to go center or off center if that makes any difference
