Tekin Hot Wire - Windows Tablet

RT or Pro?
RT wont work, pro version may work since it uses native 32bit applications.
RT would require Tekin to create an app just for the os. Best bet would be to pick up a hold android phone, and wait until tekin relases the new app that works with all generations of esc's and android 4.1/.2/.3

I use the hotwire app on a Dell Venue 8 Pro w/ Win 8.1 ( full version ). Only downside is the app size is small making it slightly hard to navigate, but definitely workable.
Remember, you will still need the OTG cable if you have a older hotwire.

I know the Android version of the app is very workable on a 4" screen, but then you can make it full screes.

After checking prices found the Dell Venue 8" Pro at the Microsoft Store for $229. Going to try it and the Dell Stylus for it. Should be in Tuesday. Will post my thoughts.
If nothing else I will have had the opportunity to try all 3 major operating systems on tablets and can decide which one I want to stick with.

I have a Dell Latitude 10 tablet with Win 8 Pro. My hotwire works fine, with the original USB cable, it runs like it's on a laptop without any issues. I have an active stylus that I use with it and I'm able to select each item without an issue.

Damn, this thing really is a full fledged Windows 8.1 computer in 8" tablet form! Who'd a thunk it?
Full software downloaded and installed flawlessly. Hooked up first try using an OTG cable from a failed Android try. Software is fully functional including saving and loading profiles. Works better in poitrait mode because there is no pop up keyboard interference. Using the stylus does make it easier to work the sliders. Looks exactly like it does on my laptop or desktop.
Navigation in Win 8.1 is a lot different than on my iPad or Android, but I'm catching on pretty quick.
Think it's a keeper!

Update. Downloaded the new version Tekin put out last night. Everything went well. Went ahead and upgraded a RSX I was testing to version 250 from 249, no problems.
Every program I have loaded so far has worked. If I find a way to hook a projector up, it may replace my laptop when traveling.
