Default Tekin android app help.

What do I need to get to make this work for my phone? I downloaded the app already, but don't know what USB cable to get or if it will work with the gen1 HW?

If you have the original hotwire you need a OTG cable. You you have the new gen2 hotwire you don't need otg but you still need mini to micro USB cable.
Took 2 weeks from china (free shipping) but your waiting for the update anyway.

They will be updating the app soon to work with the gen1 esc's, but for now it only works on gen2.

The newer android firmware will not work until the update is released, for now only 4.1 works, 4.2+ does not.

There's a thread about it in the electric offroad forum with tons of info

That is the one and only difference between the 1.0 and 2.0.

Randy or anyone here, I'm looking to get some RSX's. I am not familiar with Android based anything. What do I need to program my speedos besides the 2.0 Hotwire. I am familiar with tekin's as I have some RX8's. Do I need a tablet and if so what? Thanks in advance.

Or a laptop or notebook works too if you don't want to buy an android device just to tune and you have a notebook already.
