My wife got me a kit for my birthday I emailed Tekno about whether I have the correct diff shims in the kit, but I don't expect a response until Monday at the earliest. I'm dying to start the build. Anyone know how I can tell?

Yeah, I looked at Mechanic_Dan's before and after pics and both show silver washers, like I have in Bag A.

When I opened the box she said "Where's the motor and wheels?"..."For what I paid, it should come with a motor and wheels." Hehe, I am lucky though!

ET48 always use all 3 braces.

The bad ones are 11, 75mm and the good ones are about 17mm.

Thank you. Mine are 11mm -- the wrong ones. I looked back at the pics again, and now I can see that the 11mm look like regular washers, but the new 17mm look more like small fender washers.

FYI, my wife bought the kit from AMain on 2/24, so there are still kits out there with the wrong diff shims.

I broke two this weekend. No huge crashes, just normal racing mistakes. I'm parking mine until someone comes up with a solution. I can't risk bending at $125 chassis at this point. I tried the longer screw after I broke the first one. Didn't help at all.

This has been covered, we are replacing the diff cases for anyone that has broken them. We had a batch of them that were injected at the wrong temperature. Please contact our customer support and they will be happy to help. Thanks!

Oh ok, I thought that was just for the ones that had the ears break where the shock tower ties on. I didn't know you were covering the ones damaged by the brace screw ripping out. My apologies. I will shoot them an e-mail in the morning.
