Default 2wd sct

excuse my ignorance on the SCT scene

but why is 2wd SCT limited to 10.5 for the club series? going from last years nats entry form the class was unlimited.

It can't have been Daniel. 10.5 is the motor for 2wd SCT. If last nats didn't run it as 10.5 then it can't have been classed as a national title class

I was there in Mildura. Last year's Nats did run 10.5 blinky. It was the first time 2wd SCT was an official Nationals class.

The 4x4 class, run as a demo, was unlimited.

We can only hope not, the last thing we need is more classes.. And by the looks of numbers it might be time to propose the removal of sct from the sanctioned classes too.

It's unlikely. It might still be a Demo, but in order to get the 2WD SCT class in the two truck classes had to be amalgamated into one. Primarily this was for the larger State Championships, but it puts pressures on the Nationals schedule as well. There was a strong belief in the AARCMCC hierarchy that 6 sanctioned classes was already too many (no other section has more than 4).

Not sure why you would say that. If you look at NSW alone, out of the 4 club series rounds last year, there was an average of 18 Pro-2 SCT's at each round.

Going on numbers, Stadium Truck would be first to go, but lets hope that doesn't happen either.

Remember that AARCMCC work with clubs throughout Australia not just in NSW.......

No affiliated club has formally approached AARCMCC to suggest changes to the makeup of the Truck classes.

Again, there are no changes made to the classes without a vote to all affiliated clubs in Australia.

Yes, I understand all this.
I was just replying to an odd suggestion.

Hi guys. The entry system appears to be working brilliantly. Huge Thanks to Thomas Armstrong (Bugle) he's put in a lot of his time to set this system for us all! ! Most entrants won't see the biggest benefit of it but as part of the organizing crew of a round of the series, the ease of this system is priceless
