Tamiya mini cooper

Go with hard foams, Justin. With the newer floppy tires, you'll need all the support you can get. Maybe have a look at HPRT's setup too. He's dominating WCICS mini this year. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nyt1rl64hq...02012-2013.pdf

Hello,
On Tamiya's website it opens at 10 am. But last week I got there at 9am and it was open. Anyone know how early it will open this saturday. I have a long drive and the earlier the better for me, to avoid traffic
Thanks

Now put the M05 in an oven, different story.
So my little guy wanted a new body for the Mini and originally I ordered the HPI BMW which was pretty rare and no one in our club has one.....until the last club race when one of the members showed up with one with a bright white paint job. Shysta....
Good thing it got backordered so I cancelled it and got my LHS to get the Datsun 510 (225mm, M05-M)....trimmed it last nite, got the body post holes done (have to turn the rear posts around) and gonna give it to a guy who's pretty good with painting bodies. This thing came with a chrome tree including bumpers, mirrors, wipers and a tailpipe.
Should be pretty sweet.

I been back tracking in my mind since i had that one crash which stripped my spur gear and unless i hit the boards harder than i thought i don't know. Oh well one for the history records now.
The chassis parts will deform in a crash (and return to normal) without being permanently damaged, that's how some damage occurs. Stripping a spur in a crash is more likely due to the combination of the wheels being stopped suddenly and the motor still being powered, the weakest link in the drivetrain will go.
Can I have some recommendations of what chassis length to run on my M05. I have set the car up after 4 years of testing, and got a good set up, with the short wheel base. But I would love to run a Fiat 500 M03M body, or maybe a Super 1600 Swift. I would like to know the pros and cons of each wheel base. Also if I need to change any other things, to really make the new wheel base excel.
Thanks a tonne,
Sam

It will also make the car less twitchy/more stable.
I'm running the JCW coupe on a long-wheelbase M05.

Power out of it in other words the car was stuck and you were burning rubber, in that case
Yes you could have stripped the gears,

Like sosidge said the weakest link will go
So ...
