This thing rocks! I hope AE comes out with a kit with no electrics but loaded with FT goodies.

woho i got mine 4 xmas .........and my first drive impressions were
:its suprisingly fast out of the box
:the prick that assebled it put a wheel on a tightened it without allighning it in the groove and its now got a wobble
the charger was american so i cant use it[even though i wasnt going to]
:the front of the car is very flimsy
:shocks are very smooth
:it goes fo almost half n hour before it goes flat
:the quality is better than the losi
:4wd is awsome
:the open gearbox is terrible and the moment you go on dirt a rock get in the gears[taking the gear plate off the bottom seems to help cos the rocks dont get caught under the gears]
all in all i love it and easly whouldhave chosen it over the mini t

Wow ,I love the truck will have me a personal one soon , Health i have a set of foams on the rpm wheels coming for mine MUHAHA
the silcone will be on and i will be out for Blood on the dirt oval this spring . I think i will put a late model body on mine from the flyin M. I have the reedy motors on order i hope there as good as the bajas. I will need it against that brushless sytem of yours are you going to run the sedan late model class?if so i will have it ready also..flyn M all the way

TPhalen:We run on a small dirt oval (bullring) what do you think would be the Motor ?battery combo for it (blue groove with silicone on foam tires ) AE all the way T3 still kicking but for 6 yrs.

You know your race car is old when proline discontiueds the body (gmc serria body LOL )

well, my radio system took a dump on me.. the car would just stop working or get major glitches.. so, I put my KO on.. I got that fixed.. now my servo shuts on and off.. so, now I need a new frickin servo.. where will it end?

Really depends on race length. I would suggest running a modified motor with a good battery and adjust the gearing accordingly. If it were me, I would run Reedy's new Mini Max motor and Mini Max 1100mah Battery. I'm running those now in offroad and onroad and they're fast, and have good runtime.

How's it run with those ribbed tires on the front? I would think it would cause an on power push.

considering the RC18t has too much steering.. it may be good... I just put in heavy oil..
