Seems that this thread is totaly dead ,
Well , i have made Total four spada bl conversions since now ,here you see two of them
The first one has a custom made carbon upper plate and associated rc10 motor mount. As you see servo is mounted up to the carbon so there is enough space between chassis and carbon for a 2cell lipo pack.

In the Second one i have made a custom aluminum motor mount and spur gear adaptor in my milling machine ,as you see i have cut the original plastic upper plate so it can fit a saddle pack so maybe you can tell that this is a sadle pack version

4wd pan cars never made my heart beat. I got a micro RS4 almost ten years ago and couldn't bring myself to build it 4wd. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of pan-car-ism IMHO: light, elegant, simple in architecture but super subtle to setup.

+1. Except maybe on super low grip asphalt ? anyway, unsexy for sure.

Thought that this thread was for custom spada bl conversions not for a race car set up,didnt say that i made it from the begining for race my purpose was to make a conversion with the parts and electronics that i already had.
Exept that as much times as i have race it as a brushless on a high grip asphalt handles very well,in fact it handles like his big brothers 1/8 on road cars .same logic(front one way different diameter front to rear tires different drive ratio rear to front =overdrive ratio) That cause a very stable car even in medium grip terrain ,spada is a mix copy of 1/8 on road cars with the simplicity of 1/10 1/12 pan cars in fact it is a category by his own but you cant compare it with pan car in the track because it is not a pan car , wrong comparison.

Here is the update brushless conversion of spada .
As you see i ve tryed to keep the center of gravity as lower as i can instead the previous conversion ,this is a saddle pack version but they also fit other small size batteries.
The upper deck from the front to rear side of the car was not a good idea ,no flexy at all , so i redesgined a new 2mm cf plate to fit in the same mount as the stock one.
All the parts of the conversion now fits to the stock holes on the chassis
With Saddle pack
And 2s intllect lipo in parallel
Motor mount replaces the aluminum plate of the nitro engine
