Default Programing the hobbywing ESC

hey guys! I just picked up a hobbywing sct pro 120A ESC, and a tenshock sc411 motor, I know that they have compatibility problems, but i know you can downgrade with ESC firmwear to the old version and run the tenshock flawlessly. Does anyone know how to downgrade the firm wear? Anyone have a link or know how? Also I have the LCD Programing card, thanks for the help! Happy holidays!

Did you download the USB Link software and install it? That's probably the easiest way to perform the downgrade. However, I'd check to see if you have compatible firmware already installed on the ESC. Unless the ESC was manufactured very recently, I'd bet you'd be using the old firmware.

Connect the ESC to the LCD box, and the LCD box to the PC using a USB cable. Open the USB Link on the PC, and click on "device" at the top of the screen. Select "ESC", then select "firmware upgrade" from the menu on the left. You should be able to find the firmware installed on the ESC from that screen. Post a reply once you know what firmware's installed, and we'll proceed from there.

Download the USB link software, and install it on your PC...

HobbyWing USB Link

Connect the 2 in 1 box to the ESC using the servo extension, and use a USB cable to connect the PC to the 2 in 1 controller. Open the software once it's installed, and you can program the ESC with a few clicks of the mouse.

Default HW 3 in 1 multi function program box problem

Hello all! I have a new program box. Works fine by itself. Can't get it to get info to HW program on computer. I have it hooked up correctly, reasonably sure. But nothing can be seen on computer. I've tried everything I can think of and can read the instruction paper from memory. Searched everywhere with search feature and can't get any satisfaction. ESC is 120A V2.1. Best I can say is it is not connecting with computer through usb cable. Can anyone help me figure it out. Software was downloaded from HW site and opened with 7Zip. Tried opening as administrator. I have spent hrs trying different things,Thanks, Kevin
