I have a helpful solution for the shock tower digging into the body.
You need to purchase the body mount kit for the SCT410 and cut the ends off the plastic piece that attaches to the shock tower and bolt it to the shock tower with the shock studs. You will still have a little room between the body and the plastic if you use foam body saver pads. If you look at the pics you should be able to figure out what I mean.
Hope this helps!

I have the same motor and when I put a 15t on the motor it sits right on the center brace. I was just wondering if you've noticed any issues with it? I haven't run it yet but was thinking about getting a 2000kv T8.

I have no issues mine is close to but not touching the center brace I had a 14 on it but the mesh wasn't quite tight enough for my liking and the 15 felt better speed wise I would think with a 2000kv you would be in the range of 16-17 tooth pinion

Goes together real nice. I've started a thread with some tips. Plus provided a lot of measurements for those contemplating alternative bodies.

I have run 10/7/3 in my RC8t for years, and that thing is a bit heavier than this girl. Let you guy's know how that works out

There is plenty of room between the ESC and shaft and there's plenty between the side of the mudguard and the ESC. The receiver wire also reaches the receiver whil being tucked under the ESC tray. I'm going to Goop the switch to the side of the fan.

That's the same combo I originally planned to use, but I didn't think the HW ESC would fit [see you had to cut into the side for the sensor wire] and I wasn't sure I wanted a buggy motor.

A smaller pinion reduces that torque. The real solution of course is a lesser motor but a smaller pinion will soften the low end rush a bit at the expense of top speed.

Didn't you say you had the power limiter turned down?
