Default Twin Engine Nitro Kits?

Kits for any Monster truck.

Are there any companies still selling these kits? Most of what I see is partial kits (if your lucky) on ebay or ''this item is no longer available'' on websites. Mainly New eramodels...

There used to be some a while back but havent seen one in a long time. Given how hard it is to keep 1 engine going on a regular basis in nitro, why go 2? Especially when its hard to lay out all the power you can get from an engine these days?

Most recently it seem people have been doing twin motors as a 1 off project.

It is not "hard to keep 1 engine going on a regular basis", unless you have no clue. Hot Bodies and Kyosho used to make twins, but they're long discontinued afaik.. Would have to be a project..

I'm kinda thinking a project too. There's just nothing out there in the way of conversion kits.

I like the sound and the looks of dual big blocks.
Just a cool factor.

Someone posted within the last year about a Chinese company that cloned the Kyosho Giga rusher DF (dual engine). He posted videos on YouTube of the truck if you can't find the thread here.

I know that's not a "kit" but it's the only way I know of to get a dual engine truck without fabbing it yourself.

I have an Ofna Titan Twin good fun for bashing. They don't make them any more but you can sometimes pick them up on Ebay.

Oh nice, I'll look for it.

Sorry it was actually way more than a year ago that I saw it. I actually found the link to the YouTube videos, there's more than one.

The description calls the truck a Victory Hawk Wild Panther.

In process of my 3rd or 4th rebuild of my OFNA Twin Titan. Haven broken "everything" on this truck - repeatedly - I now know where al lthe weakness areas are - and starting over again.

Twin Picco .27's were a bit much for the standard drivelines ... mainly the OFNA potmetal cva's - fixing that.

This is an almost ALL Titanium Build from my bro over at DUH Engineering 0700 ...

One of my big issues now is exhaust systems - need pipe for the right hand engine that has backpressure nipple UP and exhaust port downward or to the right. Not using a nylon coupler - but a full race engine exhaust and alum header PIPE. Tsais used to sell - so old school can no longer find.

Planning on starting a new Build/rebuild thread in this section ...

Peace

Getting the stinger pointing in the right direction is pretty easy. The holes for the coupling springs can be drilled for new locations if need be. The problem is the pressure nipple.

Have a look at ERCM pipes, they'll build the pipe with the stinger and pressure nipple placed however you want. Another option is THS. They have Savage pipes for the right side and buggy/truggy pipes for the left. Maybe email them to see which buggy/truggy pipe matches the one they sell for the Savage.

I've had the Ofna Titan since 2003. And I keep breaking the set screws that connect the driveshaft hubs to the front or rear axle, and the set screws that connect the driveshaft hubs to the center transmission. Have you solved that problem?
