It won't affect anything. The gear boxes are sealed on the bottom, and everything fits just fine. It's just how their chassis are manufactured.

Hey, thanks for the feedback y'all. I was looking at those Gens Ace packs that 8ight-e mentioned, or the Hyperion 4200 35c packs. Unless we can all convince SMC or SPC to order us up some 6s packs using their suppliers cells. I've got time to work it over, and I'll be watching here to see what y'all are running.

ON that note; someone talk me positive.. here.
So with the longer chassis of the truggy, why would this not be used to better balance the truggy instead of front loading everything and using the ebuggy battery tray/sides? Could have allowed longer lipo's by making a truggy tray? hmm. Has anyone been out on big jumps? I would think from how this sits and the weight distro that it would be a fight to keep it level on bigger jumps and not want to nose dive.. What shock oils w/ the 8hole pistons are you running still 500 rear, 600 front? Again someone who has ran please tell me my thoughts are all wrong... TY

You can't get packs of any reasonable size in 6s for hyperion they jump to longer than the battery tray will allow pretty quick at least w/ 35c. The 25c hyperion are not better than the newer aspec or 60c gensace. It's even debatable if the hyperion 35c are as good.

The other is corner speed. If you have too much weight in the rear it will want to swap ends (like the hammer) and slow the car in corners, reducing corner speed. A forward weight bias increases and maintains corner speed.
If you're having issues with any vehicle not flying consistently in the air, it is usually remedied with setup. SC is a special case since they don't allow rear wings, but the same principles apply. Suspension and springs make more of a difference in those conditions and once you find the right combination, you get faster cornering with consistent jump handling.

Started my build last night and got the diffs finished. I did come across one problem with the diff screws. I found two of them with burrs in the socket part of the head causing the countersunk head to strip out. I had extras so no big deal. Just check your screws for burrs. I will post more as my build goes on.

hey guys i gotta question about the diffs.. (maybe tekno can answer this)
On the build of my diffs i noticed that that washer that goes on top of the outdrive seals was changed at some point.. i have a EB but those ones are Larger and Black in color.
The ones in my ET were a smaller O.D. but a bigger I.D.
the Black ones fit on the outdrives alot better but O.D. To big.
Just does not seem to make sense to me what the Heck do i know.
Just Curious
THANKS
P.S. Just got my Et and build is going great. Once again seems to be ANOTHER Great vechile from TEKNO.
Great job guys!!!!!
